Sunny Day!!

We had one sunny day!! It was a ray of hope!! Silas and David played outside much of the day... Here are pictures of Silas' favorite part - eating grass!!!

Blueridge Parkway!

David, Silas, and I went up to North Carolina for a weekend last month! We had so much fun... didn't do much, and I think that was the best part! On Saturday we tried to drive up to Devil's Courthouse, but the Blueridge Parkway was closed. We decided, instead, to just walk along the Parkway a little ways. The pictures don't do the amount of snow justice - we were walking on 8 inches, and we saw two guys skiing on the road!!
We forgot the camera while we were walking, but here are some pictures from when we got back to the car.

Canning Day!!

David and I canned peach preserves and cinnamon pears in January. I had frozen the fruit just after Silas was born and we finally got around to putting it away!! Here are a few pictures. These MIGHT be the cutest pictures of Silas EVER.

Best Bud Ever

Natalie, Doug, and Talon were in town for several weeks in December and January!! We never got around to getting really good pictures of the boys together, but here are a few that we snapped one day.

A long time comin...

It's been a while since I posted - in the last few months we have moved into a new house, had houseguests for quite some time (miss you, Jen and Jesse!!), Christmas has come and gone, and things are FINALLY settling down some! Silas doesn't sleep much right now, so the times that I could be blogging I am typically sleeping. That said, here are some FABULOUS pictures of my little man!!! These were taken in early January.

Rollin' On!

Here are a few videos of Silas rolling over! This first one is from last week sometime... David and I built a fort in the living room, Silas provided the entertainment.

Video Marathon!!!

Findlay Griggs, a little friend of ours, calls Silas Slilas, prompting the nickname Sli. I LOVE it... So you may see me refer to Silas as Sli on here. That is the background!
Anyway, here are a few videos of Sli!!

This one is from when he was 2 months old, almost to the day. Right before he lost all his hair!!
Not a very long one, but this was Silas' raspy cry!! I MISS it!!

Here's one from when Sli was 3 months old. SOUNDS a little like he's fussy, but he was having so much fun with Daddy that night!!

Silas is a VERY talkative kid, but typically when the camera goes on, his vocal chords cease working. Here is a rare talkative video!!
